After the success of its Pleasure, Hero has comes up this ‘Boy Thing’ - Maestro. keeping in the mind, the mindset of Indian consumers. The tagline of Pleasure, has always kept the male audiences away from it. So Hero has launched this to target its male customers. It is definitely a man thing because of its looks and performance.

Looks - The size definitely bigger than the Pleasure and the built is mature than the Pleasure, attracting more consumers. The bold line on the body, gives it a masculine look and the rear view mirrors are dual tone. The instrument cluster includes trip meter, fuel gauge, odometer, and a new service due indicator. It has got a sporty look, and when looked from the back, the large body with the Maestro written on it, makes it look really appealing. The tail light and the included sidelights are big and the mudguard is small which enables the light to reflect well. Being a boy scooter, it has got a large grab rail in single colour which helps the pillion lady to have proper hold and grip.
The seat is large that you a comfortable drive in long distances also. It also has got a glovebox and despite this, you also will have a big floorboard. The Handles are perfect to fit in the arms and give you great comfort while driving.

Suspension & Brakes - The  Hero Motocorp Maestro is bottom linked with spring loaded with hydraulic dampers in the front and unit swing with spring loaded hydraulic dampers at the rear that prevents the scooter from jumping too much. The braking system is good, keeping in mind, the speed and its controls by boys. The front and the rear brakes are drum brakes with internal expanding shoe type.

Engine - Hero Maestro is powered by a  110cc air cooled single cylinder engine. The engine delivers a power of 8.2 Ps @ 7500 rpm and a torque of 9.1Nm @ 5500 rpm. This is enough to give you a very smooth drive in the city areas. You can reach 60km in 10 seconds, that is slower than any other scooter in this class, but it sounds good when you come to know that it giving you a mileage of 60 kmpl.

Overall - Giving the best in class mileage of 60 kmpl, Maestro, is an economy scooter priced at around Rs. 51,000. Despite the glovebox, you will get a big floorboard and other extra features like the large seat than Activa, combined braking system, dual tones, safety features, smooth pick up etc.. come in the package of the basic price.
So if you an activa fan and you are looking for some change, then should be your choice as its priced quite near to the Activa only.

Fully satisfied with it. Middle class family can afford it.

When my dad bought me Hero Maestro I didn’t think this would be that good. I am totally satisfied with it. Mileage is awesome and maintenance is too low. It's weight is managable. Also the resell value is good in market.

When seated with two, It gives vibrations which is not acceptable. Aftersales service is not good. Pickup is poor, mileage is also not good, suspension needs to be improved. Engine performance has to be upgraded. There are other better options on this price.

HERO MAESTRO is a Great vehicle to drive comfortably, even better than ACTIVA . I had no kind of issues with the vehicle ever. Excellent mileage and power, also good storage capacity and low maintenance. It gives appx 50-55 kmpl average which is very perfect for me.
