Hero Motocorp’s 125cc Ignitor is one the good bikes that it has launched along with CBF stunner. But the idea behind the launch of Ignitor was to launch a bike with great looks along with the performance. There have been a lot of cosmetic updates that have taken place through this bike. Looks - Like said before, there have been lots of cosmetic updates that have been done. These includes, redesigned body panels with new graphics, and dual tone rear view mirrors. Apart from these, keeping in mind, the taste of younger generation, the seat has been split and the height has been increased too so that it provides the driver a good position and reduces the stress while driving. The digital analogues instrument console includes the speedometer, odometer and fuel gauge. The headlamps are trapezoidal with half fairing aerodynamics and the stylish rear lamps complete the sporty look.
Dimensions - 100% sporty look of this bike is achieved by the perfectly sized body of this bike. The bike measures 2010 mm in length, 710 mm wide and 1095 mm high. The wheelbase of 1270mm, you also get a ground clearance of 175mm. The fuel tank capacity of Ignitor is 9 litres with 1.4 litre reserve that is usable. The Kerb weight of this motorbike is 129 Kg.
Engine & Gearbox - The bike is powered by an 125cc air cooled single cylinder that generates 11.5 PS power at 8000 rpm and a torque of 11 Nm at 5000 rpm. The Advanced Flow Induction Technology improves the mileage greatly and give you up to 70.3 kmpl. The speed is maintained by the 5-speed mesh gearbox that has a pattern of 4 up one down.
Suspension & Brakes- The Hero Motocorp Ignitor has been transmitted with tubular diamond type chassis and a multiplate wet clutch. Telescopic fork suspension in the front and the adjustable hydraulic shock absorbers at the rear that offers you a great drive. The Ignitor uses the tubeless tyres, and to have smooth stopping system, it has been equipped with disc brake in the front and drum brake at the rear.
