The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX1 is a superior grade compact camera designed for amateur as well as professional photography enthusiasts. This 24.3-megapixel camera features a 35mm full-frame Exmor CMOS sensor and a Carl Zeiss Sonnar T* 35mm F2 prime lens. The DSC-RX1 also boasts a high resolution 3 inch LCD screen, and you can also enjoy Full HD movies at 50p/60p or 25p/24p. It features an ISO range from ISO 50-25,600 and offers continuous shooting at up to 5fps at full resolution. The Sony Cyber-shot features built-in pop-up flash and supports the 14-bit RAW format along with full manual controls.

Superior Grade Performance and Bright Lens

When Carl Zeiss lens are paired with Sony's optical precision what you get is a large-aperture lens with a slim advanced aspherical profile, delivering micro precision for enhanced sharpness and brightness; all this through a short lens barrel.

Sharp Images with Low Noise

The Sony BIONZ™ image processing engine processes every detail that the 35mm lens captures. The blazing fast processing feed and precision makes 5fps continuous shooting possible at 24.3-megapixel resolution. It offers 14-bit RAW format conversion along with high sensitivity shooting at ISO 102400.

A step ahead of its Predecessor

Designed for the photographers who did not settle for the robust performance of the RX1, the DSC-RX1R offers a much more modified solution. Unlike the RX1, the RX1R is not supported by the inbuilt optical low-pass filter, thus achieving the full resolution of the sensor without compromise.

Impressive Sensitivity for low-light conditions

Offering a wide default sensitivity range of ISO 100 to 25600, the RX1R features an extremely sensitive 35mm full-frame sensor and lens, with maximum F2 aperture and sophisticated image processing technology.  The Auto ISO mode allows you to limit sensitivity to any range between ISO 100 and 25600 to obtain the desired shooting output. The sensitivity can also be adjusted downward to ISO 50*.

Easy Operation Smooth Functionality

The DSC-RX1R is ergonomically designed with customizable function buttons and a perfectly positioned lens aperture ring. You can comfortably adjust the aperture and focus on the subject while macro switching rings, without losing focus on what you want to shoot. The user-friendly design offers five buttons which can be programmed with functions that you frequently use.

The  Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX1R offers more improvements than the RX1 and is one of the most expensive compact camera created for professional photographers. It features a fixed lens which discourages you to add up external lenses, thus limiting the experience just as a point and shoot camera which tilts towards DSLR-like performance. Those who do not want to get into the technicalities of a DSLR will find the Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-RX1R the perfect option to shoot just about anything with absolute precision and in vivid colours.
